my splurge

So I recieved my first paycheck and I splurged all over Sally's Beauty Supply LOL.

I got China Glaze's Phat Santa, Party Hearty, Jolly Holly, Mistletoe Kisses, Mrs. Santa Claus and the peppermint cuticle oil. Also I got three tiny bottles of Sally Girl's So disco. So I will post some of my swatches soon.

Hey guys, sorry I haven't posted anything lately. I got a new job and I'm in training so by the time I get home I'm so tired and bored it's ridiculous lol. I promise to get back to posting here soon just give me time to get used to working all day again.

This is Purple pizzazz it's a gorgeous frosted blurple duochrome color I guess.

This is Wing it wine. In the bottle it looks like a golden brownish color but in real life it's this awesome pinkish gold duochrome color.

First I needed a nude so I got French Peach just your basic nude polish

Then I got some fun glitters

this one is Violets are blue

Here it is on a nail

this is Pretty in pink

Again I put it on a nail for you to see it's glittery goodness lol

Holy Peeking Pumpkins Batman lol

This is my baby Chucho lol. He's a dorkie. A half miniatuire dachshund/half terrier mix. He's a butt but I love him anyway lol.

And my last halloween nail art for the year...sigh. I love halloween lol.

so here is what i got recently.

I love Sinful Colors.....

this one is called Let Me Go. it's a pale blurple color. Really thin so you might wanna layer it.

the glitter has a nice raspberry colored gel like base it's really pretty.

these are....Bali Mist and I Miss You. Bali mist is really pretty but, you have to layer it thick I think I used three or four coats to get it opaque then it was this real cool metal looking pink color.

some Dollar Tree L.A. Colors not sure what the names are but the teal and purple ones are a real nice jelly. The pink is really vibrant I have it on my toes right now and they like glow pearly neon pink lol

This lovely green glitter is Call You Later. I have a thing for glitters lately.

Oh the awesome greay black metallic nail polish I have on in this picture is the one from the little nail kit below....awesome color need a huge bottle lol (it's the one on the lower right.)

As with most glitters this one is cool but you got to layer it or be prepared to paint like 20 cots lmao

And then I got this awesome nail blow drier thingy with all these polishes for 10 bucks at walgreens lol i know my fiance is the manager for cvs and we went to walgreens bad us lmao but i get alot fo my polishes from there they have a great selection.

Long time no post...

Well.. I am very glad to say my second surgery was a huge sucess! They got the stone and removed the horrid tube that was making my life a living hell lol. Sorry I haveen't posted much lately but now that I feel better I will be able to do more.

Got some new hauls to show you all tomorrow so be ready for that lol.

Hello...

I ordered the blogger sampler from vivalanails so when I get that I will share some stuff with you. I'm in alot of pain right now so I've not been doing many nails at all. My next surgery is October 13th and I'll be admitted for 3 days after that so I'll get back to all of you when I get home.

Well I'm alive lol. They did not get the whole kidney stone though so they left the tube in my back that goes into my kidney. Now I wait for them to call me with info on when I go back in for another try....sigh. I'm moody, uncomfortable and weirded out that I have a tube in me lol. Right now I am walking with a walker and making slow progress. I'm tired alot and can't work because well would you wanna work with a tube sticking out of your back? Yah didn't think so lol. So I dunno if I was better off before nor now lol. I think I liked before at least then no one could see I was abnormal lol.

ok....

I leave for Iowa City tomorrow afternoon. My surgery is scheduled for Wednesday at like 10am. But I have a small procedure done tomorrow as well. I am taking my laptop with me so I am still connected to the world lol since it's an hour and a half away from my home. I'll try to keep everyone posted on how things are going and hopefully I'll be home and able to do nails again soon. Thank you for reading and following...

Mini China Glaze Haul!!!!

I LOVE Sally's Beauty Supply!!!

I signed up for the card thingy they have and I got $5.00 off a $5 dollar purchase in September. So, I thought since I have my surgery soon I might as well go there now before that awesome coupon expired. Now keep in mind I usually only buy cheapies like Pure Ice and Sally Hansen......but w9ith my discount card the coupon and they had a buy 2 get a buck off deal....I only spent $3.19!!!!! How freakin awesome is that? I am so happy lol Adrian was laughing at me.

Ok I jumped on the summer fruit bandwagon way late but here is what I did lol.

First nail is a watermelon and a grapefruit.

Second is lime and strawberry.

Third is banana and kiwi.

Fourth is pineapple and orange.

Fifth is peach and lemon.

Sorry for the crappy lighting it's been dreary here and the lighting in my dining room sucks butt lol

Lighting on this one is better.

The background color is mint dream by pure ice it is my go to color for everyday things lol

I'll try to list the others later battling a sinus infection right now.

I was just messing around this morning and look what I came up with.....cool huh?

I used Pussy Cat by Pure Ice as the base then I sponged black and silver striper paint around the edges

added a white smudge for a moon

drew a tree with a toothpick and some black nail polish same for the house

theres even a lil crow in the tree can you see him? lol

and then I drew lil ghosties with a toothpick lol.

Not bad for working til 7 am and then coming home to paint nails huh?

My favorite season is fast approaching, so, I thought I'd do some fall nails.

Sorry for not posting lately. Been stressing out about my upcoming surgery lol. I do have nails I painted and I'll try to upload them in a day or two. I work third shift and I work tonight so....blah. lol Anyone got any cute ideas or nails to show off? send them to me at wulfgurl813@gmail.com and I will post them here. Also, I only use cheaper costing polishes so if you do send me things to try keep in mind I probably woin't use their materials.

My first tutorial...dotted wave

First thing you need to do is take a skinny brush and outline how you want the wave to sit on the nail. For this one I used Love Nails by Sinful Colors.

Then you need to fill the rest of the tip in with the same color.

Carefully outline the wave with a white striper I used Kiss white.

Then with your dotting tool lol I used a broken mechanical pencil. I like how it makes dots more than the itty bitty dotting tool I got from Sally's. This was in black from Kiss.

Add your favorite top coat and off you go.
